Youth Worker 60 % ##

Here you can shape ###

• Together with the team and a Zivi, you run our youth center and actively help shape its offers and further development.
• You develop socio-cultural offers and projects in the youth center and in public spaces and implement them.
• You perform relationship work and are present for the concerns of children and young people.
• You accompany our employee in training (Gemeindeanimation).
• You network with school, school social work, and other local actors.
• You take on public relations as well as the associated administrative and planning tasks.

What you bring to your work ###

• A completed education in Socio-cultural Animation or Social Work (FH), Social Pedagogy (HF/FH), Gemeindeanimation (HF), or a related field
• Practical experience in open child and youth work
• Further training in practice instruction (PAL) or the willingness to complete it
• Initiative, creativity, and joy in taking on responsibility and contributing your own ideas
• An appreciative and clear communication style at eye level and in different roles
• Willingness for occasional evening and weekend shifts (Wednesdays until 19.30, Fridays until 22.00, as well as one Saturday evening per month)
• Joy in administrative and planning tasks
• Confident use of digital work tools and social media as well as a quick grasp
