Service Staff (Temporary) 20%

The gastronomy in Toni-Areal belongs to the Zürcher Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaften as well as the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste on the Toni-Areal campus. The gastronomy consists of the Mensa Molki, the Bistro Chez Toni, a cafeteria, as well as the Kaskadengastronomie. Furthermore, numerous internal and external caterings are carried out. Around 800 lunches are prepared daily. In accordance with the ZFV philosophy, cooking is done fresh on-site with regional as well as ecologically sensible and fairly traded foods.

Are you our new team member who will support us as a Service Staff (Temporary) immediately or by arrangement?

As a temporary worker on an hourly basis (approx. 20 %), you will flexibly support us during catering assignments -- from morning deliveries to support during caterings to the independent execution of entire events and evening apéros. Your assignments take place between Monday and Sunday depending on demand.

Your task menu:

• Serving and advising guests
• Banquet service (apéros, flying buffets, gala dinners, standing lunches, etc.)
• Plating of menus during lunch service
• Creation of the daily mise en place
• Operating the cash register
• Collaboration at caterings and special occasions
• Execution of smaller apéros
• Completion of general tidying and cleaning work
• Implementation of ZFV quality and service standards
• Compliance with and implementation of hygiene and occupational safety guidelines
