What you will do with us

• You are part of the executive board of the DSJ, take on responsibility and proactively help shape our association.
• You are responsible for the Communications department with an annual budget of CHF 390-000.- and lead a team of four permanent employees and four hourly employees.
• You are responsible for the association-wide communication planning.
• You are responsible for the association-wide communication measures (DSJ website, annual report, newsletter etc.).
• You lead and coordinate the external communications of the DSJ (incl. media and public relations).
• You are responsible for compliance with the communication concept and develop it further if necessary.

What you should bring with you

• Proven experience in the communication work of a DSJ-like organization.
• Leadership experience (also in the volunteer sector).
• Very good knowledge of CMS systems, social media channels and online advertising.
• Excellent planning and coordination skills.
• Very high sense of responsibility.
• Team player with very good communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in dealing with stress and pressure situations.
• Creative, resourceful and a strong doer mentality.
• Native German or French and very good knowledge of the respective other language.
• Excellent writing skills in the native language.
