Healthcare Specialist Neonatology EFZ, 50-70 %

In our neonatology (Level II B), newborns who were born premature or ill are cared for. We attach great importance to individual care of the patients, as well as comprehensive support and counseling for the parents. For our team, we are looking for a committed personality by arrangement.

Tasks ##

• You are responsible, in tandem with a registered nurse, for the family-centered care and nursing of premature infants and sick newborns
• You are co-responsible for patient-centered documentation of the work and nursing process as well as for correct performance recording
• You take care of material management on the ward
• You live and promote constructive interdisciplinary cooperation with high service quality
• You participate in the improvement of nursing quality and development

Profile ##

• Training as a Healthcare Specialist EFZ with professional experience in an acute care hospital, ideally in neonatology
• Interest and understanding of newborns and their caregivers in a crisis
• Independent and flexible way of working
• Strong communication skills, commitment to team development as well as to good interdisciplinary cooperation
• Cross-departmental understanding and economic thinking and acting
• High professional and social competence
• Willingness to work in shift service, predominantly in late and night shifts
