Risk Management ensures effective risk management, internal control systems, as well as crisis and business continuity management at the locations of the entire Mittelland care region (5 clinics, 2 outpatient units) - according to the methodology and with the tools of the Hirslanden Gruppe. Therefore, we are looking for you as a specialist in Risk Management to fill this position.

YOUR TASKS ##

• You either conduct the annual Top Risk Assessment together with the management teams of the clinics in the care region yourself, or you coordinate the results and ensure the consistent follow-up of the measures derived from them
• You coordinate and moderate workshops on risk and control self-assessments (internal control system) with the risk owners, critically reviewing the results and ensuring the follow-up of the measures
• Furthermore, you analyze events, identify their causes, derive lessons learned and effective measures from them, and accompany their implementation
• You coordinate crisis and business continuity management and moderate BCM testings (crisis management exercises)
• Additionally, you prepare target-group-oriented risk reports for the clinic managements, the regional Chief Operating Officer, and the Head Risk Management at the Hirslanden Gruppe level, and present the key findings to the management team of the respective clinics and outpatient units
• You promote a risk-aware culture by advising the clinic managements, conducting training for management and executives, and actively engaging in the risk manager network of the Hirslanden Gruppe

YOUR PROFILE ##

• You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration or Economics; additional training in Risk Management, Business Continuity Management, or Compliance is an advantage
• You bring at least 3-5 years of professional experience in risk management, compliance, consulting, or internal or external audit; experience in the healthcare sector is an advantage
• Ideally, you have already been able to gain experience in project and change management
• As a person, you are characterized by high initiative, an independent way of working, and entrepreneurial thinking
• You appear confident and diplomatic towards management, and you also enjoy moderating and possess strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• You have the willingness to occasionally travel within the care region and to participate in Hirslanden Gruppe networking meetings 1-2 times per year
• You have very good German and good English skills in speaking and writing
• You are proficient in using MS Office; application knowledge of risk management tools or Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) tools is an advantage
