Food Sales Assistant

Objective of the position

You ensure friendly, competent, and efficient service for our customers. Through attractive product presentation as well as compliance with quality and hygiene standards, you contribute to a positive shopping experience.

Tasks

Friendly and competent service of customers
Sales and consultation in the food sector
Operating the cash register and correct accounting
Goods receipt as well as control of quality and delivery quantities
Refilling and attractive presentation of the sales shelves
Control of minimum shelf life dates and freshness
Compliance with hygiene regulations (HACCP)
Ensuring order and cleanliness in the sales area and warehouse
Support during promotions and seasonal sales activities
Compliance with operational safety and quality regulations
Requirements

Completed training in retail EFZ/EBA or comparable professional experience
Enjoyment of customer contact
Well-groomed and friendly appearance
Reliable, independent, and careful way of working
Teamwork skills and flexibility
Willingness to work on weekends, public holidays, or in shift operations
Good German skills; further language skills are an advantage
Driver's license Cat. B
