Ward A0 with a treatment focus on depression

The ward has specialized in the treatment of people with depressive symptoms. The therapeutic work is based on a multidimensional understanding of depression. The psychotherapeutic and pharmacological treatment is carried out according to the current state of knowledge and integrates modular CBASP and ACT as a primary focus. Additionally, complementary medical offerings are used. The typically open-style maisonette ward has 21 treatment places.

Your tasks

• Accompanying patients on their recovery path within the framework of individual conversations and daily ward life
• Contributing the perspective of experience with mental illness and recovery to treatment-relevant areas
• Collaboration with the core team
• Conducting a peer-led group offering to support the personal recovery process of those affected
• Support and networking for aftercare
• Offering, self-help group participation, as well as participation in intervision and the specialist group Peer & Recovery

Your profile

• You bring high professional and personal competence as an expert by experience and have ideally already worked as a peer in an inpatient setting
• You have completed peer training (EX-IN or PMS)
• You have an expanded understanding of your own recovery history and can speak about it in a nuanced way
• You can be a translator and mediator for the patients (answering questions about clinical pictures)
• You can approach other people empathically and without prejudice
• You possess high teamwork skills
• You possess the ability to work in a self-organized, independent manner
