The Stiftung Naturama Aargau gives nature a voice. We operate a popular and well-established nature museum in Aarau. Furthermore, our specialists in the fields of environmental education, nature conservation, and climate provide diverse services for public and private clients.

Fundraising & Marketing Specialist 60 %

In order to further develop our projects and offers, we are looking for an initiative, structured, and reliable personality who will be responsible for our fundraising and support our marketing team.

Your tasks

• You secure funding from foundations and funding institutions and prepare corresponding applications. You coordinate funding applications closely with the project managers from education, museum, and nature conservation. A special focus is on the financing of special exhibitions and projects.
• You identify potential sponsoring partners, prepare offers, and ensure the processing. You prepare possible decisions and work according to our sponsoring guidelines.
• You manage the Naturama Club, maintain member relationships, and develop the offer in an economically sensible way.
• You further build up the area of fundraising, legacies, and donors.
• Together with the Marketing and Communication Specialist, you ensure efficient and contemporary external communication via the different media channels and help to further develop the structures and processes.
• You maintain various datasets yourself as well as in different internal and external tools, manage the website, and further develop event communication.
• You prepare texts and communication media and maintain digital content.

Your profile

• You work in a structured, careful, and reliable manner, organizing and completing your tasks independently, keeping an eye on deadlines, and setting priorities.
• You convince with conceptual thinking, are flexible, and quickly find your way in constantly changing projects and topics. Entrepreneurial change and a dynamic environment motivate you.
• You communicate clearly, approach people openly, and work constructively with different specialists.
• You have good oral and written expression skills and are confident in dealing with digital communication channels.
• You have several years of professional experience and have gained practical experience in fundraising, foundation management, and sponsoring. You bring knowledge and methodology from fundraising, business administration, and/or marketing training.
• You are very proficient in dealing with digital tools and always keep your knowledge up to date.
• You have a connection to the Canton of Aargau and already have an existing network or are willing to build one.
