Our district parish with approximately 4400 members is located on the upper part of Lake Zurich, facing the magnificent island of Ufnau. We are looking for, immediately or by agreement, a Head of Primary Education Rectorate (60 % - 70 %)

Tasks awaiting you

• Leadership of the catechist team
• Professionally accompany and lead the catechists, currently five catechists;
• Continuously ensure the quality guarantee of religious education.
• Planning and coordination of religious education in public schools
• Develop hour planning in collaboration with various committees;
• Manage student registration and deregistration procedures;
• Maintain contact with parents, school principals, teachers, Catholic parishes, and the education department of the three political municipalities.
• Religious education at the primary level
• Give up to ten teaching lessons at the primary level;
• Transmit the Christian faith in God as a source of trust and hope;
• Prepare and conduct school ecumenical services;
• Clarify the concerns of parents.

Conditions facilitating your work

• Ideally completed catechetical training, at minimum a methodological pedagogical training;
• Completed diaconal training or willingness to undergo one;
• Membership in the cantonal Reformed Church and personal attachment to the Christian faith;
• Flexibility and availability for occasional interventions in the evening and on weekends;
• Affinity with social media;
• Organizational talent, team spirit, autonomy, and great reliability;
• Initiative, creativity, sociability, capacity for enthusiasm and integration.
