About the role

As the right hand to the GIS Manager, you will combine your technical geomatician skills and your Product Owner posture to drive the development and evolution of the company's geoportail. You will bridge the gap between the needs of users in the field and the technical team.

Tasks
-------

Steering and development of cartographic applications within an agile environment to optimize the management of distribution networks.

• Manage and steer the realization in agile mode of cartographic and planning tools
• Collect, understand, and translate user requirements for the geoportail
• Collaborate with the GIS Manager to define the product vision and prioritize developments
• Ensure the quality control of the integrated geospatial data
• Test the developed cartographic solutions before their deployment
• Support users in the adoption of tools and organize training sessions
• Write the necessary technical and functional documentation

We are looking for

• Higher education in geomatics, cartography, or urban planning
• Good mastery of GIS software, particularly the ArcGIS platform
• Good understanding and practice of the Agile methodology
• Excellent interpersonal skills, proactivity, and curiosity of mind

An asset if you possess

• Experience as a Product Owner or digital product management
• Basic knowledge in Python scripting
• Knowledge in application design (UX)
