Tasks ##

Key data about the position:

• Workload: 10 weekly lessons (37%), consisting of 7 WL IF and 3 WL ISR
• Class: 1. Primar
• Accompanying the class as SHP, including responsibility for supporting a child with special needs (cognitive impairments) who is being educated integratively within the class group

Profile ##

• Teaching diploma for the primary level, recognized in Switzerland
• Diploma in Special Needs Education (Schulische Heilpädagogik) or willingness to undertake the training over the course of the next 3 years
• Joy in teaching students from a wide variety of cultures
• Ability to successfully lead and organize the class
• Willingness and joy in working in an integrated setting, together with Special Needs Educators and assistants
• Ideally experience with children with intellectual disabilities
• Positive basic attitude, teamwork skills, resilience, high social competence
