Do you juggle numbers daily, maintain balance even with complex bookings, and confidently bring monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to completion?

At BitHawk AG, accounting is not seen as a mandatory exercise, but as a central control instrument. As an Accountant, you are not a marginal figure, but right in the middle – where decisions are prepared and processes are further developed.

Your tasks

• You take responsibility for financial accounting, plan and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and carry out the closing work independently as well as in close cooperation with the Finance team.
• You prepare VAT and tax returns correctly and on time.
• You are a competent contact person for booking, closing, and process questions and think beyond your own area of responsibility.
• You work closely with the CFO and independently take on cross-cutting finance topics.
• You prepare reports and analyses that truly help decision-makers.
• You carry out our IKS processes, question existing workflows, and continuously develop them further.
• You actively support audits and ensure the necessary documents and reconciliations are provided.
• You plan and are responsible for inventories from preparation to successful implementation.
• You contribute your own ideas, take responsibility, and together with the Finance team, contribute to the further development of our processes and ways of working.

What you bring with you

• Federal diploma in finance and accounting or at least 8 years of professional experience in an equivalent position, sound experience in preparing financial statements, and a strong understanding of numbers.
• ERP systems are a natural working tool for you; ideally, you are familiar with MS Dynamics NAV or Business Central. The M365 environment is very familiar to you and supports you in an efficient daily work routine.
• You think and act independently: You do not wait for work, but find it – and proactively think tasks through to the end instead of just working them off.
• You enjoy taking on responsibility, even beyond the classic accountant scope of duties, and work closely with Controlling, Accounts Payable, and other interfaces for this purpose.
• You communicate clearly, enjoy working in a team, and ensure things go well through your proactive thinking.
• Very good German skills in speaking and writing.
