Team Leader Employment and Safety Officer (SiBe), 90% as of 01.11.2026

The Wohn- und Werkstätte Chraiehof in Lommis, Thurgau, cares for and accompanies adults with a mental impairment aged 18 to 65 in the residential area, in the daily structure, and during leisure activities. The 25 residential places are distributed among four residential groups in the main building and several separate external apartments in Lommis. In the unpaid daily structure, Chraiehof offers employment in the following areas: kitchen, housekeeping, creative atelier, facility management, industry, herb garden, animal husbandry, and in our vegetable garden operated according to Demeter guidelines.

Team Leader Employment and Safety Officer (SiBe), 90% as of 01.11.2026

Your main tasks:

• As Team Leader: (80%)
• In this function, you assume the team leadership of the employment area (formerly unpaid daily structure) and are responsible, in cooperation with the employment team (6 other employees), for the employment of the residents.
• As a specialist, you care for and accompany our residents in the daily employment structure.
• You work actively in the area of daily employment and in key person work.
• You have an overview of all caregiving tasks and coordinate the deployment planning of the employment team, including creating the duty rosters.
• You are responsible for the planning, preparation, and implementation of assessments.
• You hold the leadership, control, and promotion of the employees in the employment area.
• You ensure the flow of information, both within the employment area and interdisciplinarily.
• You conduct both regular team meetings as well as employee and qualification discussions.
• You have responsibility for and control over the comprehensive resident documentation RedLine and the IBB recording in the daily employment area.
• You undertake coordinative, planning, and administrative activities in the employment area.
• You create the departmental budget for the attention of the GL and implement it accordingly.
• You lead the employment team in consultation with the Managing Director and the Team Leader of the residential team.
• As Safety Officer (SiBe): (10%)
• In this function, you assume the role of Safety Officer in the institution and advise and support the employer, the management, and the line managers in exercising their responsibility regarding safety and health protection in the company.
• You are the contact point for questions regarding safety and health protection and define the corresponding objectives for this.
• You plan and process the safety concept in consultation with the management.

Your profile:

• You have a university of applied sciences degree or an equivalent degree in social work, psychology, or social pedagogy.
• You have training as an occupational pedagogue (Arbeitsagoge) or alternatively bring professional experience in occupational pedagogy.
• Topics from the fields of psychiatry and social work are familiar to you from your professional daily life.
• Ideally, you bring several years of leadership experience as a team or department leader.
• You are an upright, communicative, and committed personality who understands how to convey and live values.
• You are innovative, eager to develop, and open to new projects.
