Specialist in Childcare ISR, Schule Luchswiesen, 80 %

As of 1. January 27 or by arrangement, we are looking for a specialist in childcare with a focus on ISR for the care of ISR children (special needs students integrated into regular school) in the Kronwiesen and Luchswiesen 1 childcare.

The workload of 80 % is distributed over four or five working days per week.

Tasks ##

You accompany and support students with special needs during after-school care. As a team, you are responsible for the promotion and integration of the children. Your tasks include:

• Care and guidance of the children in school-related childcare
• Building relationships with the ISR children and accompaniment in social and academic learning
• Interdisciplinary cooperation with the school staff involved in the promotion
• Parent contacts in consultation with the teachers
• Accompanying the way to school
• Active cooperation in the school team
• Organizational and administrative tasks

Profile ##

• Openness and willingness to engage with students with special needs
• Ideally, you already have experience in the care of children with special needs (preferably in the area of learning / behavior / augmentative communication)
• High resilience in a dynamic field of work
• High flexibility in thinking and acting, initiative, and ability to work in a team
• Specialist in childcare EFZ, specialization in childcare or an equivalent recognized training (nursery educator, social pedagogue); for foreign diplomas, a Swiss recognition must mandatory be attached to the application documents.

About us ##

The Schulkreis Schwamendingen includes the entire Stadtkreis 12 of the Stadt Zürich. Schwamendingen is a lively, multi-culturally composed residential district. We are easily accessible via public transport via Bahnhof Stettbach and Oerlikon with various tram and bus lines.

Die Schule Luchswiesen is a QUIMS school in Zürich-Schwamendingen. It currently includes five kindergartens, sixteen primary classes and the childcare area. Schule Luchswiesen has a long tradition as a student club, which offers the students integrated full-day care.
