Mecaplex AG develops and produces high-quality glazing solutions for aviation. For the further development and standardization of our production processes, we are looking for an engaged student to support us in the creation and optimization of our work instructions and process documentation.

This is not simply a desk-based activity: daily work takes you directly into production, where the focus is on the exchange with employees, the observation of individual work steps, and the preparation of existing know-how into a clear and understandable form.

Your tasks

• Recording and documenting existing production processes directly at the workplace
• Creation of understandable and practical work instructions
• Close cooperation with our production employees, work preparation, and quality inspection
• Structuring of work steps, inspection characteristics, and important process parameters
• Creation and integration of photos, sketches, and other visual aids
• Revision and standardization of existing work instructions
• Ensuring that the documentation is understandable and applicable in everyday work for both new and existing employees

Your profile

• Ongoing studies, ideally in mechanical engineering, production technology, industrial engineering, aviation, or a comparable technical field
• Interest in production processes and technical workflows
• Ability to describe complex processes simply and understandably
• Structured and independent way of working
• Enjoyment of direct exchange with employees in production
• Good German language skills in speaking and writing
• Good MS Office skills
• Technical understanding and a pragmatic hands-on mentality
• Prior knowledge in aviation is an advantage, but not a requirement
