The Centre pour enfants avec déficiences sensorielles et corporelles ZKSK is an interdisciplinary competence center for children and adolescents with physical, sensory, and multiple impairments. Across four sites, we offer school support, individual medical and pedagogical therapeutic offers, as well as accommodation possibilities. Through psychological and medical evaluations as well as therapies, we support, advise, and accompany children and families.

Starting from 1 January 2027 or by agreement, we are looking for a committed assistant in special pedagogical therapy with experience in the autism spectrum, at 25% time, Monday and Thursday mornings, in Oensingen.

The special pedagogical early childhood education team at the Oensingen site offers various group offers. You support their implementation:

• Interaction group (Monday and Thursday mornings from 8:45 to 11:15, preparation and follow-up time in addition): children aged 2 to 5 years show particularities in the areas of communication and interaction. Knowledge in the field of the autism spectrum and composure in difficult situations are therefore necessary.
• Special pedagogical early childhood play group (Monday afternoons from 13:30 to 15:30, preparation and follow-up time in addition): the five to six children aged 3 to 5 years have different special pedagogical support needs and are having their first group experiences.

Your tasks

• You help with the planning, design, and implementation of the support units
• You welcome the children and parents, accompany them upon departure, and provide feedback. The primary responsibility for work with parents in the traditional sense belongs to the special pedagogical early childhood educator
• Taking charge during toilet transitions, diaper changes, and snacks is a matter of course for you

Your qualifications

• Apprenticeship diploma as a socio-educational assistant, playgroup leader, or a diploma in special or curative social pedagogy, early childhood education, or corresponding training
• Interest in the experience of children who perceive many aspects of the world differently than you and who have a deficiency or developmental delay
• Great empathy and ability to put yourself in the place of children and parents
• Willingness to acquire knowledge about the autism spectrum, associated therapeutic approaches, and other themes of special pedagogy
• Good comprehension skills allowing you to put into practice theoretical knowledge and the advice of the special pedagogical early childhood educator
• You have experience in the field of support or supervision of children's groups.
• Team spirit, capacity for reflection, and reliability
