Flexible relief worker in the residential area

Since 1971, Teen Challenge Schweiz has been accompanying adults aged 18 and over with mental impairments and addictive diseases on their way to vocational and social integration. Around 30 specialists are committed to the well-being of nearly 70 participants within the framework of various residential, work, and integration offers at five locations in two cantons. Teen Challenge Schweiz is a social-economic, IVSE-recognized association based in Glarus and part of a global network with approximately 1400 facilities in 129 countries. Financing is provided through public-law donors, the sale of own products and services, as well as through donations.

To support our teams in the residential area, we are looking for, effective immediately or by arrangement, a

Flexible relief worker in the residential area ##

You are a good fit for us if you - ###

• have completed training in social pedagogy, as a specialist in care (Fachperson Betreuung), or a comparable qualification.
• are flexible and can also take on shifts at short notice if required, including evening, night, and weekend shifts.
• enjoy accompanying people with mental impairments and/or addictive diseases in a committed and appreciative manner.
• want to support and promote our residents individually and in a resource-oriented way in their everyday lives.
• are open to taking on kitchen duties in addition to care tasks.
• work independently, responsibly, and reliably.
• are a team player, think in networks, and can quickly adapt to different situations.

A lateral entry is also possible depending on professional background, provided you have the willingness to complete a subject-specific, part-time vocational training.

• You enjoy cooperation and interdisciplinary exchange.
• You have good MS Office skills and perform administrative tasks conscientiously.
• Ideally, you possess a category B driver's license and have driving experience.
