Your new role

The Dienststelle Umwelt und Energie coordinates the implementation of the municipal energy concept 2050 and enforces the Energy Act as well as the Environmental Protection Act in the areas of noise, air, and radiation. You are responsible for the enforcement of the Energy Act. This includes assessments of energy certificates, advising clients on energy issues, and sitting on national and cantonal committees. Additionally, you will take over the enforcement of the Air Pollution Control Ordinance and assess building applications.

• You are interested in and committed to energy topics, environmental and climate protection.
• You have a completed degree in the fields of building physics, engineering, or architecture.
• You bring knowledge or experience in the areas of energy, air pollution control, heating/ventilation/air conditioning, sustainable construction, and circular economy.
• You enjoy project work and contact with various specialist departments as well as the population.

Your department

The Dienststelle Umwelt und Energie, with a motivated team of 14 people, is committed to a healthy environment, the sustainable use of energy and resources, as well as climate protection in the city. We inform and advise, initiate projects, and perform statutory enforcement tasks. At the center of our work are the objectives and measures of the Energiekonzept 2050, the Umweltkonzept, and the Mobilitätskonzept 2040.
