Patient Receptionist (m/f/d) 60-80%

Work location: Region Basel / Home Office

Working hours: Monday to Sunday in shift operation

Your main tasks

• Receiving incoming calls from patients in German and French as well as ideally English and/or Italian
• Identification of callers and recording of relevant basic data
• Triage and initial assessment of requests according to internal guidelines
• Recognition of emergency situations and initiation of the corresponding escalation processes
• Planning and coordination of telemedicine consultations and callback appointments
• Recording and management of doctor appointments in patient files
• Maintenance and updating of patient data in the internal systems
• Collaboration on hotlines, projects and studies
• Ensuring professional, solution-oriented and service-oriented care

Additional tasks (if suitable and required)

• Supporting new employees as a tutor
• Collaboration on training and induction programs
• Maintenance and management of incoming documents in the databases
• Support with administrative activities within the patient reception

Your profile

• Professional experience in the areas of call center, reception, customer service or front desk is an advantage
• Very good German & French skills in speaking and writing
• Italian language skills are an advantage
• Confident handling of MS Office and digital communication tools
• Rapid comprehension and high willingness to learn
• Structured, careful and reliable way of working
• Strong communication and service orientation
• Enjoyment of contact with people and interest in medical issues
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously (multitasking)
• Independent, responsible and team-oriented personality
• Readiness for irregular shifts in shift operation, including weekends
