*The University Hospital for Pediatric Surgery cares for and treats children aged 0-16 years in the specialist fields of orthopaedics, traumatology, visceral surgery, thoracic surgery, neurosurgery, urology, hand surgery, craniofacial malformations, eyes, ENT and neonatal surgery. The OR area including OR planning comprises 3 operating rooms with around 25 employees.
Organizationally, the Pediatric and Adolescent OR is affiliated with the OR platform.*

What awaits you ##

• Your main tasks are qualified instrumentation, preoperative assistance, general preparation, device operation, positioning and correct documentation during operative procedures in the field of pediatric surgery
• Participation in quality improvement is important to you
• You participate in organizational, logistical and administrative tasks
• You are responsible for vocational training in the OR and support the training of students and the further education of employees
• Regular deployment in all areas of responsibility and shifts is required

What you bring with you ##

• Completed training as Dipl. Fachperson Operationstechnik HF or Dipl. Operationspflegefachperson
• Sound specialist knowledge and at least 2 years of professional experience
• Joy and motivation in the guidance and support of students and apprentices
• Further training as a vocational trainer or willingness to undergo further training
• Specialist knowledge in the field of pediatric surgery is a great advantage but not a requirement
• Team player with a focus on interdisciplinary cooperation, high quality of work and appreciative communication
• Motivated, committed and patient personality with high social competence
• You possess planning and organizational skills, can take responsibility, set priorities, are resilient and flexible
