Coordinator Vocational Training (Maternity Cover)

What you will do with us

In the Personnel Department, you are the central contact person for all questions regarding vocational training. You support and advise the line in everyday questions surrounding vocational training and are responsible for the internal events for vocational trainers as well as all municipal apprentices from 15 different professions. Furthermore, you support the training of the interns in the Personnel Department and perform administrative tasks.

What you ideally bring with you

• Completed initial training and several years of professional experience in the administrative field
• Ideally additional training or pronounced experience in the field of vocational training, pedagogy, HR or similar
• Ideally experience as a vocational or practical trainer
• Pronounced social skills and the ability to deal with different stakeholders
• Solid language competence in German and French, at least orally

About us

As a hub, the Personnel Department of the City of Biel deals with all internal municipal personnel matters. We advise and support the entire organization on questions of vocational training and are also the first point of contact for the insgesamt over 100 municipal apprentices in all professional fields. A young, bilingual team awaits you.
