Payroll & Social Insurance Clerk 80–100 % (temporary)

For our client in the Biel region, we are looking for an experienced and professionally competent Payroll & Social Insurance Clerk.

Your tasks

• Collaboration in monthly payroll processing as well as carrying out the associated controls and reconciliations
• Recording, maintenance and verification of personnel, wage and social insurance data
• Processing personnel administrative tasks in connection with entries, exits and personnel changes
• Support in the processing of sickness and accident cases as well as with EO, maternity and paternity benefits and other social insurance topics
• Creation and processing of reports as well as correspondence with insurance companies, authorities and external partners
• Collaboration in the monthly and annual closing work in the payroll area
• Ensuring high data quality and up-to-dateness of information in the HR systems
• Support of employees and internal contact persons with questions regarding payslips and social insurance
• Taking over additional tasks in the area of Payroll and HR Services, coordinated with personal knowledge and experience

Your profile

• Completed commercial basic training or a comparable qualification
• Initial to several years of practical experience in wage administration, payroll, HR Services or in the field of social insurance
• Good knowledge of the Swiss social insurance system
• Further training in human resources, payroll or social insurance is an advantage, but not a requirement
• Confident handling of MS Office as well as interest in digital HR applications and systems
• Knowledge of SAP and/or Abacus is a plus, but not mandatory
• Good oral and written skills in German and French
• Strong flair for numbers as well as a careful, precise and reliable way of working
• Independent, well-organized and service-oriented personality
• Team-oriented and flexible way of working as well as pleasure in actively supporting the existing team
