As a unit sergeant major, you will assume a central role in the conduct of the training detachment of the SWISSINT Training Center. You will ensure that everything functions adequately and will contribute to guaranteeing our readiness for deployment. The Operations Command (Cdo Op) is responsible for all operations and all military deployments of the Swiss Army. It includes, among others, the Air Force, the Land Forces, the four territorial divisions, the SWISSINT competence center, the special forces command and the military police. Approximately 40 percent of the nearly 2500 employees are civilian employees: from engineers and aircraft mechanics to analysts.

The Swiss Army employs over 9000 employees within the framework of four military professions and approximately 200 civilian professions, in 110 locations throughout the national territory. Furthermore, it provides for new recruits, training apprentices in over 30 professions.
