The NUK offers protection, security and support for children and adolescents in acute crisis situations. Those affected receive immediate help and professional accompaniment by a team of specialists in social pedagogy with a focus on crisis intervention and trauma pedagogy. The goal is to offer them a safe place in difficult situations and after traumatic events in the family or social environment.

For our residential area, we are looking for a specialist to strengthen our core team

Your tasks

• Stabilization of the situation of children and adolescents
• Contact person in crisis situations
• Case coordination and key worker work
• Recording the concerns of children and adolescents
• Guiding children and adolescents in everyday tasks
• Everyday and leisure activities
• Night presence and weekend service
• Participation in regular team meetings and supervisions
• File management and case documentation
• Household tasks (cooking, cleaning of the rooms)

Your profile

• Completed training in social pedagogy HF/FH
• Professional experience with young people in crisis situations
• Further training in the field of child protection and/or trauma pedagogy or willingness to undergo further training
• Competencies in relationship building; promotion of resilience and stability among those affected
• Joy in working with children and adolescents
• Willingness to work on weekends
• Confident handling of PC applications
