SONNHALDE in Grüningen is a psychiatric nursing and care center with around 300 residents of different ages. As part of Peter di Gallo Unternehmungen AG, we employ over 320 employees across 14 wards.

For our cafeteria, we are looking as of 1 October 2026 or by arrangement for a committed and warm personality who lives hospitality, enjoys taking responsibility, and contributes to a good togetherness with their positive manner.

What awaits you
Our cafeteria is an important meeting place for residents, relatives, employees, and external guests. Together with your team, you ensure that our guests feel welcome and well cared for.
Your tasks include:

• Warm welcome, care, and catering of our guests
• Ensuring cleanliness and order at the workplace – independently and continuously
• Professional and appealing offering of food and drinks
• Preparation of hot and cold drinks as well as snacks
• Operation and settlement of the cash register using TC-POS
• Independent preparation and organization of the Mise en Place
• Ordering, refilling, and appealing presentation of products
• Participation in special events
• With enthusiasm and attention to detail – you can convincingly recommend the offer in the cafeteria
• Ensuring workplace hygiene as well as general tidying and cleaning work

Your additional responsibility
In addition to the classic tasks in the cafeteria and dining room, we wish for a personality who enjoys taking on additional responsibility. Even in lively situations, you maintain an overview, independently recognize where support or additional organization is required, and actively contribute to a professional and warm appearance of our cafeteria with your host mentality.
With your positive, solution-oriented manner, you actively contribute to the team, provide impulses, and motivate others to jointly ensure high service quality and lived hospitality. In addition, you monitor stock levels and independently ensure demand-oriented goods ordering from our suppliers.

What you bring with you

• Completed training as a restaurant specialist, hotel-housekeeping specialist, or a comparable training
• Professional experience in gastronomy, service, or hotel management
• Strong host mentality and joy in contact with different people
• High sense of responsibility and the willingness to show initiative
• Friendly, professional, and service-oriented appearance
• Independent, clean, and expeditious way of working
• Team-oriented personality who actively contributes and also maintains an overview in hectic situations
• Very good German skills
• Willingness for regular weekend shifts
