Lecturer in the field of Mathematics 75% as of 1 January 2027 or by arrangement, fixed-term until 31 December 2028. The Pädagogische Hochschule Zürich actively shapes education, school, and teaching of today and tomorrow in teaching and research. The Abteilung Primarstufe is responsible for the training of primary school teachers. It currently offers three degree programs at Bachelor level as well as subject and level extensions that convey fundamental competencies for teaching activities at the primary level. What you will do. * You will take over university teaching in the training in the field of Mathematics Primarstufe with a focus on Zyklus 1 (and Zyklus 2) and design modules based on professional expertise, practical relevance, and student orientation. * You will develop, plan, conduct, and evaluate courses, teaching arrangements, and examination formats and participate in diploma examinations. * You will advise and support students, supervise specialization papers, and conduct teaching practice coachings. What you bring with you. * You have a university degree in the field of mathematics didactics, mathematics, or a related subject area. * You bring experience in teaching at the entry and primary levels and/or in university teaching or in the training and further education of teachers. * You have proven competencies in the development, implementation, and further development of courses. * You are interested in the connection of research, teaching, and practice and bring a willingness to participate in development work. * You enjoy working in a team, communicate in a target-group-oriented manner, and bring a cooperative, committed, and independent way of working.
