We are looking for our client in the canton of Genève for long-term temporary missions, Socio-educational Assistants (M/F).

Socio-educational assistant in EMS

Your mission:

• Individualized support for residents
• Support in personal projects (needs, resources, rhythm)
• Help with daily living activities
• Coordination with the socio-sanitary network
• Accompanying to appointments (according to specific needs)
• Organization of individual and collective activities
• Promotion of participation, expression and fulfillment
• Encouragement of social and cultural life
• Development of autonomy and integration
• Contribution to the functioning of the unit
• Participation in team reflections
• Interdisciplinary collaboration and continuous improvement

Required skills:

• CFC in Socio-educational assistance
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position
• Knowledge of the psychic domain / public in difficulty
• Support for adults with psychic disorders
• Sensitivity to social issues
• Autonomy, sense of responsibility and organization
• Open-mindedness, adaptability, availability
• Teamwork and interdisciplinarity
• Good oral and written communication
• Active listening and empathy
• Excellent command of French (oral and written)
• Good writing level
• Mastery of MS Office tools
