We are there for the people in the Oberes Rheintal and offer advice, support and guidance in various life situations. Our long-standing crew member is retiring and therefore, as of 1 January 2027 or by arrangement, we are looking for a committed and reliable personality for our social counseling crew on board our SDOR ship.

Your tasks on board

• Counseling and support of individuals or families in difficult life situations in the field of voluntary social counseling
• Conducting voluntary income and asset management
• Identifying and coordinating services towards third parties
• Cooperation with management, internal departments and external specialist agencies
• Depending on interest and suitability, there is the possibility at a later date to take on leadership responsibility for the social counseling area.

Your profile

• completed studies in Social Work or a comparable degree
• experience in the field of social counseling
• counseling competence and interest in professional relationship management
• knowledge in the field of social insurance and social assistance
• high social competence, willingness to provide service and resilience
• an appreciative and resource-oriented attitude in dealing with people with different biographies and challenging life situations
• as well as good skills in self-management and in working independently
