Sociocultural animator at 75% - Association de la Maison du Quartier de la Jonction

• Assume as part of a team the responsibility for socio-educational work, sociocultural and artistic animation, and reception with the various populations of the neighborhood;
• Contribute to the development of the neighborhood's associative life in a context of urban evolution;
• Participate in the development and supervision of the animation program, events, and day camps;
• Collaborate with the association's management committee and during general assembly meetings;
• Ensure the association's management tasks according to a shared coordination mode, based on a rotation system, for both administrative tasks and field tasks.
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in social work, HES level, or an equivalent university degree;
• Experience in sociocultural animation;
• Ability to assume sole responsibility for a team of monitors and public reception;
• Sense of initiative, autonomy, creativity, versatility, ability to take on responsibilities;
• Ability and willingness to work in a team and a network: management committee, monitors, animators, administrative and technical staff, volunteers, activists, Ville de Genève, actors/partners of the neighborhood;
• Willingness and ability to work within a collegial animation team;
• Good capacity for expression and synthesis (oral and written), rigor and respect for deadlines;
• Good knowledge of the social, union, political, and cultural landscape of Geneva.
• Experience in the associative field;
• Openness to flexible and irregular hours (evenings, weekends, and school holidays);
• Mastery of standard IT tools (Word, Excel, etc.);
• D1 driving license, an asset;
• Salary according to the State of Geneva pay scale, maximum class 15;
• Start date: 1 January 2027;

The Fondation genevoise pour l'animation socioculturelle is a partnership institution, funded by the Canton and the municipalities, whose mission is to promote and maintain social cohesion in the Canton of Geneva, i.e., to ensure the quality of the relationship between individuals and society. Through socio-educational, sociocultural, and field-based associative actions carried out by centers and outreach teams, the Foundation meets the needs of the population in terms of meeting, exchange, solidarity, citizenship, and quality of life, with a general objective of preventing social disengagement.
