Social Worker (workload 50 %)

Your area of responsibility

• personal and economic assistance for individuals and families according to the Social Assistance Act and SKOS guidelines
• Advising and accompanying people in difficult life situations
• Preparing applications and implementing decisions of the social authority
• Administration and record keeping (dossier management incl. KLIB)
• Ensuring coordination between involved actors such as social insurance, RAV, doctors, integration programs, and legal guardians
• Assessment and disbursement of social assistance according to SKOS guidelines
• Assertion of subsidiary benefits (social insurance, employers, support from relatives, etc.)
• various administrative activities

Our expectations

• You already have completed training in social work (FHS or comparable training) or are currently studying to become a social worker
• You have already gained initial practical experience and have good knowledge in the field of social insurance
• Commercial basic training is an advantage
• Reliable and exact working style
• Good IT user skills (Microsoft Office, possibly KLIB)
• Empathy, confident appearance, and good communication skills
• Ability to assert oneself and set boundaries when dealing with clients
