In order to complete its team, the Commune de Bassins is advertising a position for an Auxiliary Lifeguard at an activity rate of 30%, i.e., 14h/week on weekends and replacement of permanent staff, within the Piscine communale.

Auxiliary Lifeguard

Main missions:

• Ensure the reception of the public and swimming schools;
• Ensure with diligence and firmness the supervision of swimmers and other users of the swimming pool;
• Prevent accidents and intervene for first aid;
• Ensure compliance with the current regulations, safety and hygiene instructions;
• Perform maintenance and cleaning work of the premises, sanitary facilities, changing rooms, pool;
• Ensure the sale and collection of entrance tickets;
• Fill in the logbook.

Profile sought:

• Holder of the Pro Pool certificate (plus-pool accepted if pro-pool is passed within the year);
• Up-to-date BLS-AED certificate recyclings;
• Autonomous with a good team spirit;
• Strong interpersonal skills, dynamic and versatile;
• Must be at least 18 years old;
• Work according to a pre-established schedule, mainly on weekends.

Job conditions

• Contract: first year on CDD before transition to CDI
• Salary: from 20 to 50 years old = 29.15.-/h // less than 20 years old or more than 50 years old 29.77.-/h
• Activity rate: 30% (weekends and replacement of permanent staff)
• Start date: 1 January 2027
