The Pastoralraum Region Sursee LU (pastoralraumregionsursee.ch) consists of around 15-000 Catholics from five parishes. Together with many volunteers, we are committed to a lively and inspiring togetherness and are jointly facing the challenges of the times and the associated adjustments.

For the further development of our organization and forward-looking cooperation in the Pastoralraum, we are looking for, effective immediately or by arrangement, as a complement to the leadership team a

Head of Administration 80 % ##

Together with the Pastoralraumleiter, you are managerially responsible for:

• the strategic orientation and prioritization of the Pastoralraum
• the organization and further development of the Pastoralraum
• the design of role-based cooperation (clarity regarding roles, responsibilities, and decision-making paths)
• the cooperation with the board of the Kirchgemeindeverband and the Kirchenräte

In addition, you are responsible for:

• the development and implementation of efficient and innovative forms of management
• the leadership of employees in support areas
• personnel management of all employees at the interface with the HR department of the Kirchgemeindeverband
• specific future topics, such as sustainability, volunteer management

What you bring with you

• Degree at tertiary level (university or higher vocational college) or a comparable qualification through further education and professional experience.
• Further training in NPO management, leadership, HR, organizational development, or change management is an advantage.
• Curiosity for the design and testing of new forms of cooperation and for innovative ways of organizational design, as well as motivation to continue the initialized organizational development.
• Good knowledge of the ecclesiastical structures of the Roman Catholic Church, or openness to getting to know them, as well as interest in church development
• Competence and experience in leadership as well as joy in leading
• Explicit desire to live a shared leadership model as a trio (with the Pastoralraumleiter and the leading priest)
• Willingness for assignments during evening and weekend appointments
