Forklift Driver Early Shift (m/f/d) | 50 %

Introduction

For our customer in the Basel area, we are looking for an experienced and reliable forklift driver (m/f/d) 50 % for the early shift, starting immediately or by arrangement.

In this responsible position, you will ensure smooth goods handling and support the logistics team in the early morning hours. The working time begins as early as

02:00 AM, which is why reliability, flexibility, and an independent way of working are particularly important.

Tasks

• Loading and unloading trucks with the forklift
• Safe putting in, taking out, and relocating of goods
• Preparing and sorting shipments for further transport
• Checking goods for completeness and visible damage
• Ensuring a smooth flow of goods in the transshipment warehouse
• Compliance with safety, quality, and work regulations
• Support with general warehouse and logistics work
• Ensuring order and cleanliness in the work area

Profile

• Several years of professional experience as a forklift driver, ideally in a transshipment warehouse or in transport logistics
• Valid forklift license (SUVA-recognized)
• Confident handling of counterbalance and/or reach trucks
• Physically resilient and used to working in a dynamic work environment
• Independent, reliable, and expeditious way of working
• Willingness to work the early shift starting at 02:00 AM
• Good German language skills in speaking and writing
• Driver's license category B as well as having your own vehicle is an advantage, as the workplace is only limitedly accessible by public transport at the early working hours
