The Stiftung Schürmatt is a competence center for unique special education services in the Canton of Aargau. We employ around 440 employees at 13 locations. The majority of these are active in the education, promotion, and care of people with disabilities.

Your main tasks ###

• You work with a special education teacher in a school class in Cycle 1 - 2
• Together with the well-coordinated team, you supervise and promote 6 students with cognitive and multiple impairments and sometimes challenging behaviors
• You support the planning and implementation of lessons and in managing the shared school daily routine
• You supervise the children and adolescents during the lunch break and perform environmental work
• You perform administrative tasks

What you bring with you ###

• Training as a Fachfrau / Fachmann Betreuung or as a Fachfrau / Fachmann Gesundheit
• Interest in working with children and adolescents with developmental abnormalities or multiple impairments
• Assertive, cheerful personality
• Adept in dealing with people and pedagogical skill
• Good physical condition, psychological stability and resilience
• Sense of responsibility, commitment and humor
• Good manners and joy of communication
• Good communication in German
