Lifeguard (50% - 80%)

The municipality of Gossau ZH in the Zürcher Oberland has over 10'500 inhabitants. In our service-oriented municipal administration, around 130 employees work in six departments. The real estate department includes the Freibad Tannenberg. This offers several swimming lanes, a paddling pool, a pool for non-swimmers with a slide, a diving pool, a playground, as well as catering in the Badi-Bistro. For the 2027 bathing season, we are looking for an engaged lifeguard (50% - 80%)

Your area of responsibility:

• Ensuring a safe, orderly, customer-friendly, and environmentally friendly bathing operation
• Lifeguard supervision during public swimming operations
• Ensuring first aid performance and object security
• Implementation of the house and bathing regulations
• Carrying out inspection rounds on the water treatment technology
• Support in the cashier service and in the Badi-Bistro

Your profile:

• Brevet Schweizer Badmeister:in (BiP) or SLRG Brevet PRO Pool
• CPR and AED training
• Readiness and flexibility for irregular working hours (weekend shifts)
• dynamic, reliable, and team-oriented way of working as well as a service-oriented attitude
• Independence and sense of responsibility
• good manners and communication skills
