Senior Physician Oncological Rehabilitation 50 - 80% Basel

In internal medicine-oncological rehabilitation, you accompany patients on the way back to everyday life after oncological illnesses and treatments. In Basel, on behalf of a rehabilitation clinic, we are filling a position as a Senior Physician for General Internal Medicine with a workload of 50 – 80%, immediately or by arrangement. You will manage internal medicine-oncological rehabilitation and work interprofessionally with therapy, nursing, and other specialist departments.

• Medical care of patients in the field of inpatient internal medicine-oncological rehabilitation
• Planning and coordination of individual rehabilitation steps together with nursing specialists and therapeutic specialist departments
• Support and deputy role for the physician management in daily clinical operations
• Professional guidance and supervision of assistant physicians
• Collaboration in an interprofessional environment with short decision-making paths and collegial exchange
• Opportunity to actively shape daily clinical life and contribute your own ideas

What you bring with you

• Completed medical studies
• Advanced training or completed specialist title in General Internal Medicine
• Enjoyment of interdisciplinary cooperation as well as rehabilitative medicine
• High social competence, sense of responsibility, and strong communication skills
• Structured and patient-oriented way of working
