The Migrationsamt und Passbüro of the Canton of Schaffhausen belongs to the Departement des Innern as a department. In the area of migration, the department operates daily in the exciting political environment of all migration issues and the resulting tasks. In addition, it is responsible for processing formalities for the issuance of identity documents for Swiss nationals as well as for the recording of biometric data of foreign persons with regulated residence in Switzerland. What awaits you ##

• Recording of biometric data of Swiss nationals and of foreign persons with various cultural backgrounds
• Various project-related tasks in cooperation with the stv. Dienststellenleiter and with the Dienststellenleiter
• Support with vacation and sickness substitution in the Passbüro
• Processing of various exciting foreign law applications
• Providing information at the counter, by telephone and via chat
• General clerical work

What you bring with you ##

• Commercial or comparable training, initial professional experience in a public administration is an advantage
• Interest in legal issues and very good written expression
• Joy in contacting people of different origins as well as a customer-friendly, structured and expeditious way of working
• Good knowledge of common Office programs
• Resilient, reliable and team-oriented personality
• Flexibility in working hour design (for vacation substitution in the Passbüro) as well as foreign language skills are an advantage
• Good knowledge of common Office programs
