To this end, we advise and inform competently and purposefully on the topics of health and prevention for infants and toddlers up to five years. For the Mother and Father Counseling team at Kirchhofplatz 19 in Schaffhausen, we are looking for a/an Advisor Mother and Father Counseling (on an hourly basis) as of 1 January 2027 or by arrangement. Start date: 1 January 2027 or by arrangement Advisor Mother and Father Counseling (on an hourly basis) In this exciting job * you competently and independently advise and accompany parents and caregivers on questions regarding the development, upbringing, care, and health of their infants and toddlers. * you recognize developmental abnormalities or stressful family situations at an early stage and initiate appropriate measures if necessary. * you strengthen parents in their parenting competence and support them in promoting their own resources and their independence. * you work closely with pediatricians, midwives, daycare centers, therapy centers, and other specialists. * you contribute your professional expertise and your ideas to the further development of our counseling services and support assistants in everyday counseling. You are successful here * with training as a nurse HF with a focus on children or a comparable qualification as well as additional training as an Advisor Early Childhood with a federal diploma (HFP) or the readiness to complete this. * thanks to your specialist knowledge in early childhood development, infant care, upbringing, and pediatric medical topics as well as your knowledge in systemic counseling and counseling methods. * due to your pronounced empathy, your very good communication skills, and your appreciative attitude towards children, parents, and caregivers. * with your independent, responsible, and well-organized way of working as well as your ability to act professionally even in emotional and challenging situations. * with very good German skills in speaking and writing.
