The Huus am Schärme offers 10 children and adolescents a safe place to live 365 days a year. Embedded in the social space of Hägendorf, the house enables everyday-oriented and life-world-oriented accompaniment. Through integration into the residential area, proximity to school, leisure, and support services, as well as cooperation with parents, legal representatives, and specialist agencies, we create good conditions for development, participation, and independence. Our work is based on trust, participation, and relationship building at eye level. Professionally, we orient ourselves towards trauma-pedagogical principles, the principles of life-world orientation, and empowerment, thereby creating a structured, reliable framework and a safe place where children can grow and unfold their strengths.
