Specialist in Care ISR or School Assistant Schule Schauenberg, 70 %

For the care of children with special needs, who are integrated into regular care, we are looking for a Specialist in Care ISR / or a School Assistant with corresponding experience in the Betreuung Schauenberg 1 as of 19.10.2026.

Tasks ##

• Accompanying and supporting lower school children with special educational needs during after-school care (Hort) and during afternoon lessons on Monday and Friday, also in the school context
• With your pedagogical expertise, you accompany the ISR children in social and academic learning
• You are interested in interdisciplinary cooperation with the school staff involved in promotion and the parents
• Working days on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday; Wednesday is your day off

Profile ##

• EFZ Specialist in Care, certified early childhood educator, (for applications with a foreign diploma / certificate, Swiss diploma recognition must be mandatorily attached)
• Application as a school assistant without a diploma is possible
• Flexibility as well as very good teamwork and communication skills
• Joy in dealing with people of different cultures and willingness for interdisciplinary cooperation in the school team
• Professional experience in family-supplementary care is an advantage

About us ##

We are a large school community in Zürich-Nord with 19 schools. We derive our pedagogical stance from the concept of New Authority and thus meet the daily challenges in everyday school life together and effectively.

The Tagesschule Schauenberg includes the lunch / evening Horts Glaubten 1, Glaubten 2, Eigengrund, Lerchenhalde Primar, Lerchenhalde Kiga and Schauenberg 1. In the premises Glaubten 1, Glaubten 2, Lerchenhalde Eigengrund, around 30 kindergarten children are cared for daily; in Schauenberg 1, it is up to 260 children over midday, from the first to the sixth grade. The childcare facilities are open from Monday to Friday from 11.55 to 18.00 as well as during all school holidays of the Stadt Zürich.
