Custodian

The employer is looking for a:

surveillance worker (reported profession)

Tasks:

• opening and closing of the museum and the park gates;
• surveillance of the exhibition rooms;
• assistance to the cash/reception staff;
• on-call service

Requirements:

• experience in maintenance, technology or security, preferably in a museum or a similar institution;
• predisposition to perform work independently or in a team and organizational skills;
• ability and ease in interpersonal relations and aptitude for contact with users;
• availability to work outside regular hours (may be called to work in the evening on the occasion of events and inaugurations);
• knowledge of Italian and at least one second national language and/or English;
• residence in Bellinzonese (maximum distance of 30 minutes from the Museum in case of on-call intervention).
• driving license cat.B (valid)

Working hours:

• approximately, shift work in the following periods: Friday, Saturday, Sunday and holidays shifts from 9.30 to 14.00 or from 13.30 to 18.00/18.30;
• variable on the occasion of exhibition inaugurations, public and private events and absences of the custodian.
