Receptionist (m/f/d)

For our renowned client – a leading automotive company – we are looking for a committed, customer-oriented, and sympathetic personality for a temporary position at the reception in Frauenfeld, starting immediately until the end of 2026. In this position, you are the first point of contact for customers and represent the company with a well-groomed appearance and excellent manners.

Your main tasks

• Customer reception & support: Warm welcome of customers and forwarding to the appropriate specialist departments
• Telephony & service reception: Ensuring telephone accessibility for customer service
• Master data maintenance: Recording new customers and new vehicles in the system
• Cash management & administration: Handling the cash register, invoicing, as well as general administrative activities
• Ordering system: Management and ordering of office supplies
• Lead management: Daily monitoring and forwarding of customer inquiries
• Car rental & chauffeur services: Contact person for customer transport if required (pick-up and drop-off service)

Extended area of responsibility (in a second step):

• Independent planning of simple appointments and creation of the associated orders
• Coordination and presentation of customer vehicles

Qualifications

Your profile

• Education: Completed commercial basic training (or comparable qualification)
• Experience: At least 1–2 years of professional experience in the commercial sector or in the reception/service sector (experience in the automotive industry is an advantage)
• Driver's license: Possession of a valid Cat. B driver's license (car) is mandatory
• Personality: Very well-groomed appearance, excellent manners, and a high orientation toward service
• Communication: Very good German skills in speaking and writing as well as a sympathetic aura on the telephone and in direct customer contact
