Case Manager (M/F)

Job Description ##

In order to strengthen the current team, we are looking for, for a fixed term, a case manager.

Reporting to the Sanction en milieu ouvert (SMO) sector of the Office d'exécution des peines (OEP), you will put your administrative skills, your rigor, and your analytical capacity at the service of a mission of public interest.

As a case manager, you ensure the opening and administrative follow-up of files related to the execution of criminal convictions. You analyze situations, ensuring compliance with procedures and current legal provisions.

You thus contribute to the smooth running of the execution of sanctions in a demanding environment where rigor, autonomy, and a sense of responsibility are essential.

Responsibilities ##

• Analyze and manage files during the implementation of the criminal conviction by determining deadlines, statutes of limitations, and execution modalities.
• Draft administrative acts in connection with the files of convicted persons;
• Manage data related to the files received by the sector, update and control information in the databases.
• Ensure the follow-up of financial sanctions, notably the collection and redistribution of amounts to the competent authorities.
• Manage statistics and collaborate in the archiving of files
• Respond to calls from convicted persons as well as internal and external partners arriving on the sector's telephone switchboard or direct the call to the correct contact.

Fixed-term contract until 31.03.2027.

Qualifications ##

• CFC in commerce or an equivalent title
• Useful professional experience for the position, preferably within the judicial system
• Possess a strong interest in compliance with standards and procedures
• Knowledge of the penal system and the law of sanctions in connection with the mission of the sector and the main related legal bases
• Mastery of the French language with a good writing level and excellent spelling
• Knowledge of a second national language and one or more foreign languages is an asset
• Comfortable with common IT tools and office software; knowledge of the Papillon application would be an asset.
• Good management of priorities and stress, sense of teamwork, good emotional control and the necessary distance related to the function

Our employment conditions require that you are Swiss or a holder of a permit C, free of any certificates of loss (an extract from the Office des poursuites must be presented during the process) and your criminal record must be clean. There is a right to consult the criminal record in application of the Federal Act on Criminal Records by the hiring authority for this function.
