Laboratory Specialist QC Microbiology (m/f/d)

General information:

• Location: Kaiseraugst
• Workload: 65%, on-site
• Start:
• Duration: 6 months with option for extension
• On-call/weekend work: Occasional

Your tasks:

• Independent processing and follow-up of Deviation Reports (DRs) and assessments in close cooperation with Quality Assurance and relevant interfaces
• Responsibility for the entire deviation management process including root cause analysis (RCA, 5-Why), definition, implementation and follow-up of CAPAs
• Planning, coordination and documentation of Change Requests for processes and methods within quality control
• Creation, review and updating of GMP-relevant documents such as SOPs, testing instructions, work instructions and reports
• Execution of special assignments as well as general laboratory and service activities according to applicable cGMP guidelines
• Ensuring efficient and GMP-compliant microbiological analysis in compliance with all relevant quality and compliance requirements
• Collaboration in cross-functional projects within QC and with the manufacturing units as well as readiness for occasional weekend, on-call and holiday shifts

Your profile:

• Completed studies in the field of life sciences, e.g. biotechnology, microbiology, bioengineering or comparable field (Bachelor or Master)
• At least 2 years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry within a GMP-regulated environment
• Sound knowledge of pharmaceutical quality systems as well as relevant GMP standards
• Experience in handling deviations, CAPAs, root cause analyses and GMP documentation is an advantage
• Fluent German and English skills in speaking and writing
• Strong understanding of quality and compliance as well as high personal responsibility and result orientation
• Very good organizational skills, strategic thinking as well as a team-oriented way of working with a focus on continuous improvement
