The sensitive transition period around pregnancy, childbirth, and early parenthood requires multifaceted internal and external adjustments, which mean an emotional crisis for some families. The peripartal crisis support project is intended to accompany and support families in an outpatient, home-visit capacity in their domestic environment during this transition period.

Your tasks

• Active cooperation in the establishment and implementation of the new pilot project
• Co-development of processes, structures, and offerings
• Carrying out psychiatric needs assessments and recording the individual support needs of families in peripartal crisis situations in their domestic environment according to current cantonal specifications
• Case management, nursing planning, as well as accompaniment and support of families in peripartal crisis situations in consultation with the specialist management
• Case management and interprofessional cooperation and networking with internal and external specialists in consultation with the specialist management
• Continuous observation and professional assessment of the mental state as well as the support needs
• If necessary, medication management and accompaniment in the implementation of therapeutic measures in consultation with the specialist management and the interdisciplinary treatment team
• Professional documentation and participation in quality assurance
• Trauma-sensitive, attachment-oriented work with families in crisis situations

Your profile

• Training as a certified nursing specialist HF or BSc in Nursing FH, in the psychiatric specialist field
• A total of at least two years of professional experience at an employment rate of 100% in the psychiatric specialist field (part-time requires correspondingly longer professional experience)
• Experience in outpatient and home-visit psychiatric care
• Experience in the recording, planning, implementation, and evaluation of psychiatric Spitex services based on individual nursing and support needs in cooperation with an interdisciplinary team
• Experience in somatic nursing
• Experience in case management and interprofessional cooperation
• Ideally experience in accompanying family systems in peripartal crises as well as knowledge in the areas of attachment development, pregnancy, childbirth, and early parenthood - or the willingness to undergo targeted further training in these subject areas
• The willingness to continuously develop personally and professionally within an interdisciplinary team
• Open, mindful, responsible personality

• Driver's license category B available
