Your main tasks
As Restaurant Manager, you are responsible for the operational and organizational management of Restaurant One in Basel and ensure smooth processes in daily operations.

Your tasks include in particular:

• Leadership, motivation and deployment planning of the service and kitchen staff
• Ensuring professional guest service and high customer satisfaction
• Responsibility for the operational restaurant business
• Control and compliance with quality, hygiene and safety standards (HACCP)
• Ordering goods as well as monitoring stock levels and inventories
• Collaboration in budget planning and cost control
• Analysis of key figures and implementation of measures to increase turnover
• Training and further development of employees
• Processing guest feedback and complaints
• Planning and execution of events and special promotions
• Close cooperation with management, suppliers and external partners

Your profile

• Completed training in gastronomy or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in a leadership position in gastronomy
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Entrepreneurial thinking and cost-conscious action
• High service and guest orientation as well as flexibility
• Resilience as well as an independent and structured way of working
• Strong communication skills as well as an open and transparent way of working
• Very good German skills in speaking and writing; other languages an advantage
• Confident handling of common Office applications and POS systems

Working hours

• Workload: 80 %
• Shifts are basically in the evening and on weekends
