Social Worker 60-80% (fixed-term for 1 year)

We are a social service with almost 20 employees and provide an important part of the services in the areas of economic social assistance, adult and child protection, school social work, alimony assistance, as well as supplementary family childcare. Together with various stakeholders, we support our clients with passion and humor in developing the greatest possible autonomy, taking responsibility for their own actions, and participating in social life. Even today, our caseload corresponds to the latest professional recommendations. To ensure this starting position in the future, we are expanding our team with an additional position. To strengthen our motivated and supportive team, we are looking for a committed Social Worker 60-80%, starting immediately, fixed-term for 1 year.

Your tasks ##

• Provision of social assistance benefits according to social assistance legislation and independent case management of support dossiers
• Mandate management as well as investigations in adult and child protection on behalf of the KESB, including income and asset management as well as supervision of accounting and filing
• Preventive counseling and referrals to specific specialist centers
• Networking and coordination with external specialist centers and authorities
• Further tasks as agreed

Your profile ##

• FH degree in Social Work or equivalent training
• Experience in economic social assistance as well as in adult and child protection
• Comprehensive knowledge in the area of subsidiarity as well as in social insurance matters
• High social competence in dealing with people in challenging life situations
• Structured, forward-looking, independent as well as goal- and solution-oriented way of working
• Resilient, team player and service-oriented personality
• Flawless oral and written expression
• High affinity in dealing with IT systems
• Proactive and committed personality with a high understanding of quality and service
• Strong communication skills
