The municipality of Risch is a progressive and dynamic organization in the public sector that enjoys a high level of trust from its over 11,800 inhabitants. This is thanks to the daily commitment of around 300 employees, for whom service and solution orientation are part of their self-image. The Social/Health Department consists of the areas of Generations and Society, School Social Work, and the Social Services with a total of 24 employees. For a fixed-term maternity replacement, we are looking from 1 March 2027 to 30 September 2027 for a Social Worker FH (80%)

Your tasks

• Investigation and granting of economic social assistance according to the legal bases (SHG, SHV, SKOS guidelines, internal instructions)
• Support, counseling and referral to specialist centers
• Initiation and support of integration measures
• Claiming benefits from third parties
• Voluntary short-term counseling and referral to suitable specialists/specialist centers regarding questions in the social field
• Administrative support of clients with the help of social administration
• Cooperation with authorities, agencies and specialist services
• If required, participation in specialist committees and projects of the department

Our requirements

• Degree in Social Work FH or an equivalent qualification with several years of professional experience in the field of economic social assistance
• Resilience, flexibility as well as team and conflict skills
• Understanding for people in difficult life situations as well as empathy but also assertiveness
• Quick comprehension, efficient and solution-oriented way of working
• Very good oral and written expression in German
• Very good IT skills (Office applications, CMI and Klib)
