Le Cercle scolaire du Val-de-Travers is looking for two school life assistants for cycle 1. Under the responsibility of the management and in close collaboration with the pedagogical teams, you contribute to the reception, safety, integration, and the development of autonomy of students presenting special educational needs. You also participate in maintaining favorable teaching conditions for the entire class.

Activities ###

• Accompany students according to defined needs and priorities
• Support their integration, participation, and autonomy during different school times
• Promote a secure framework and prevent situations of exclusion or crisis
• Observe the evolution of students and transmit factual findings
• In close collaboration with the pedagogical team, implement adapted tools, measures, and arrangements
• Collaborate with the pedagogical team and other school interveners
• Participate in coordination times, networks, assessments, special activities, and training

Requirements ###

• Hold a CFC as a socio-educational assistant (ASE) or a title deemed equivalent
• Experience in accompanying children, ideally in a school environment or with students presenting special educational needs
• Benevolent, firm, and securing educational posture
• Sense of observation, capacity for analysis, and ability to propose concrete solutions
• Interpersonal skills and aptitude for multidisciplinary work
• Reliability, organizational autonomy, flexibility, and ability to adapt to evolving needs
• Discretion and respect for professional secrecy as well as data protection
• Mastery of usual digital tools and ease in administrative follow-up
• Driver's license
• Absence of conviction or criminal procedure incompatible with the function
• Being a volunteer firefighter considered an asset
