Your tasks

• Counseling and support for individuals and families with a background of flight and migration in complex life situations
• Resource- and solution-oriented case management with the goal of sustainably promoting the independence of clients, in particular promoting professional and social integration as well as promoting residential competencies for persons in refugee housing (Resettlement-Programm of the Confederation)
• Interdisciplinary cooperation with authorities, educational institutions, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders
• Networking with internal and external specialist agencies as well as mediation of suitable support offers
• Calculation of the financial support requirement and ensuring the correct payment of the approved support services according to SKOS guidelines, the Social Assistance Act, and the Asylum Welfare Ordinance
• Drafting of social service decrees and applications for the Social Commission
• Maintaining complete and traceable case documentation in Tutoris

Your profile

• Completed degree in Social Work
• Several years of experience in counseling people, especially those with a migration background, ideally in a social service
• High social competence as well as empathy and sensitivity in dealing with people in demanding life situations
• Very good flair for numbers, stylistically confident German, and proficiency in written expression
• Enjoyment of direct customer contact as well as appreciative and solution-oriented counseling
• Resilient personality with good ability to set boundaries and pronounced teamwork skills as well as cooperative collaboration with external specialist agencies
• Independent, reliable, and structured way of working with pronounced service orientation and negotiation skills
• Confident handling of common IT and Office applications, ideally knowledge of the case management software Tutoris
